This safari includes the greatest wildlife encounters in Kenya and Tanzania, including Samburu, Lake Nakuru, Masai Mara, and the Serengeti. This safari includes the finest of Kenya and Tanzania. In the semi-arid Samburu region, keep an eye out for large game. Explore the savannas of the Masai Mara and Serengeti, and be stunned by the flamingo-covered Lake Nakuru. Meet nomadic tribes and explore the magnificent Ngorongoro Crater. Transport is via 4WD vehicle with assured window seats, making it ideal for game watching and photography. Trip Itinerary

12 days / 11 nights Best of Kenya and Tanzania

DAYS 1 & 2 - The Samburu Game Reserve
Leave Nairobi early in the morning to cross the equator and arrive in semi-arid Samburu. On the way, you may come across nomadic Samburu people. Look for uncommon northern species like Grevy’s zebra and reticulated giraffe on game drives.
DAY 3 – Mt Kenya
Depart Samburu for Mt Kenya, where you will spend the night at Mountain Lodge, which overlooks a waterhole where woodland wildlife congregates.
DAY 4 - Lake Nakuru and the Rift Valley Lakes
Drive to Lake Nakuru in the Rift Valley, which is famed for the millions of pink flamingos that flock to its shores. In the afternoon, we went on a game drive in the park. Overnight in the vicinity of Lake Nakuru or Lake Naivasha.
DAYS 5 & 6- National Reserve of Masai Mara
Early departure for the trip to Masai Mara National Reserve’s grasslands. The park is well-known for its plains wildlife and predators like as the black-maned lion, cheetah, and hyena.
DAYS 7 & 8- National Park Serengeti
Fly to Migori airfield, then drive to Tarime before flying into the Serengeti. Drive to your lodge or camp, stopping for wildlife watching along the way. The Serengeti is well-known for its millions of wildebeest and zebra, as well as its large predators. Enjoy game drives in the morning and afternoon. BLD
DAYS 9/10- The Ngorongoro Crater
En route to the beautiful Ngorongoro Crater, stop at Olduvai Gorge, a well-known archaeological site. Check into your crater rim lodge. The next day, go on a half-day game drive with a picnic lunch on the crater floor. This extinct volcano is home to around 25,000 creatures.
Day 11 - Lake Manyara National Park
Drive through coffee plantations before descending the steep Rift Valley Escarpment to Lake Manyara. Take a game drive across Lake Manyara National Park.
DAY 12 - Tour concludes in Arusha
Drive to Arusha, where the tour concludes
