Itinerary (6N/7D)
Kumarakom: Kumarakom is a prominent tourist destination in Kerala, India, located near the city of Kottayam and known for its backwater tourism. It is situated against the backdrop of the Vembanad Lake, Kerala’s largest freshwater lake.
Marari Beach is a beach in Kerala’s Alappuzha district. This tranquil small village (also known as Mararikulam) is a lovely spot for a holiday, located only 11 kilometres from Alappuzha town.
Cochin: Kochi, originally Cochin, is a significant port city on India’s west coast on the Arabian Sea that is part of the Ernakulam district in the state of Kerala. Ernakulam, which refers to the city’s mainland, is another name for Kochi.
Fort Kochi Beach: A stroll along the beach, especially after sunset, with Chinese fishing nets and sailing ships in the backdrop, is an unforgettable experience. Along the beach, there are several European-style bungalows. The beach length is lined with little kiosks that serve mouth-watering traditional food made from freshly caught fish on the spot.
Vasco House: Vasco House, located on Rose Street, is thought to be one of India’s oldest Portuguese residences. Vasco da Gama is said to have resided nearby. This home has verandahs and European glass paned windows.
Dutch Palace: The Dutch Palace was initially constructed by the Portuguese. Later, in the 17th century, it was modified and handed to the Raja of Kochi by the Dutch. Many of Kochi’s Rajas were crowned here. Mural paintings representing episodes from the Hindu epics Mahabharatha and Ramayana may be seen in the palace. Mattancherry is the location of the palace.
